Hi, I'm Nico! I study Computer Sciences and Data Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My interests include big data systems, distributed computing, and statistical analysis. I enjoy the hard systems questions that make data science possible at scale.
Right now, I'm exploring distributed statistical computing. I'm also learning Rust (for real this time)! I'm also on the lookout for an open source project to contribute to, ideally something in data engineering where I can put my skills to good use. In other news, I just wrapped up a fun project applying game theory to Pokémon Showdown battles!
